Kelsie Guerrera LCSW

My name is Kelsie Guerrera and I am a licensed clinical social worker in Connecticut. I am so grateful that you are here! God has always put it on my heart to become a social worker. I graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2017 and received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in human rights and social justice. I then went on to Fordham University and graduated with my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2018. I have worked in various mental health and medical settings such as an adult psychiatric day program, palliative and hospice center, nursing home, private practice work, and in the cancer hospital working with patients with various cancer diagnoses. I have experience in leadership as a former clinical director leading a group of clinicians in the private practice setting as well.
I believe in the power of prayer and healing through the Holy Spirit. My passion is to help others achieve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. I address a person’s needs in a compassionate manner as well as providing a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment that allows for personal growth. My approach is insight and growth oriented where I highlight a collaborative therapeutic relationship and advise clients to take an active role in their treatment.
I am here to accompany you wherever you are on your journey. Together, we will work collaboratively to address your current stressors, explore the underlying issues, and create goals to support you in your growth.
Focus areas: Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder, chronic medical conditions, cancer, trauma/PTSD, life transitions, grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, women’s related issues, relationship issues, self-esteem, aging, stress management, and Christian counseling.
